ZingTech Review: Sony Xperia Z4
The anticipation has been killing us all! We've been waiting and waiting to see and grab our hands on the Sony Xperia Z4, but wait. Rumour has it, it won't be released globally as the Z4, but as the Z3+! Eh?!
Japan have had the preview, the launch and the sales, however it seems like the rest of the world is still on hold for the long awaited Xperia Z4 Smartphone. With the release of the Z4 tablet and Sony Xperia M4, it does make sense to have the trio completed, but clearly not so soon.
With minimal changes and upgrades to the handset, it seems like there won't be much difference at all. Apart from the usuals of the price and processing system, we know it will certainly be running Android's 5.0 Lollipop update released mid April 2015 for Sony, but it still packs the same screen size of 5.2" as the Z3 (the rumours are unfortunately false - there's no 5.5" screen) and battery life we can expect to last up to 2 days again!
The look, feel and everything about the phone (smell of it too) all makes it feel like a Z3 - so what's the actual difference? Apparently we're waiting on mirrored front and back screens for the newbie to the Z range as well as a 1920 x 1080 display and maybe even quad core processors. Ooee, fancy.
Of course we all care about our selfies, so we're looking at an upgrade of the front facing camera to a rumoured 5.1mp camera with a 25mm wide angle lense, so we can fit in more of our friends and not have to hold our arms out so awkwardly any more! Bonus!
But there are rumours of 2 versions, a normal version and a flagship QHD version with a display of 1440 x 2560. Now we all know which we prefer...
