MFI Certification, 3rd Party Cables and Apple iOS
If you buy a Lightning accessory from zingcases.com, you can be sure that it will work with your Apple device for both syncing and charging. Some 3rd party Lightning accessories show warning messages in iOS 7. Ignore this message and continue to use your cable as normal.
The reason this message appears is because you are using an accessory that is not ‘MFI Certified’. Whilst 3rd party cables, are not MFI certified, rest assured they are equally manufactured to a high quality (if you would like to know more about MFI Certification see below).
In any case, we offer a 6 month warranty on all of our cables and if your cable stops working, simply contact us at info@zingcases.com and we will replace the cable free of charge.

Firstly what is MFI?
MFI stands for Made for iPhone, Apple want to approve all cable made for the iPhone so any cable which has been approved will come with the MFI Logo:
However this process is costly for manufacturers which results in cables costing significantly more, other manufactures decide not to certify the products to keep prices down, while manufacturing cables of the same high quality.
What happens if I do not Use MFI certified Cables and use 3rd Party cables instead?
As certifying cables is a revenue stream for apple, they want you to use the certified cables to do enforce this, they occasionally release software updates to try and block the use of these cables.
You may also see the sign below when you plug the cable in, simply click the Dismiss button and the cable will still charge and sync the iPhone without an issue.
